Our hybrid non-electric dog fence is a proven system developed over the last 6 years on virtually every type of dog and property nationwide. This dog-specific fence is a combination of a high strength UV protected polypropylene mesh combined and galvanized black vinyl-coated metal hex wire, which acts as a chew and dig guard.
When these materials are combined they become a proven, extremely effective, affordable, and virtually invisible dog fence system that is easy to install just about anywhere, by just about anyone.
Nearly Invisible. Our dog fencing system is virtually undetectable from as little as 10-15 feet away. Our system blends into your natural environment. The heavy duty 8 gauge cable system in place of traditional rails allows fences to nearly disappear from most angles. Our system is quite flexible. This means we can use trees as a replacement for supporting posts. This helps your fence seamlessly blend into your existing natural surroundings. Take a look at the picture above. How hard do you have to look in order to see our fence? Pretty hard, huh?
Cost Effective. Our non-electric fence systems are the most affordable and complete dog fencing systems available. Don't believe us? Check out our fencing calculator and see for yourself. Our posts require no digging and no cement. We utilize no-dig sleeves which can be spaced up to 25 feet apart, whereas alternative fencing products typically require posts to be between 8-10 feet apart. Our system allows trees or other structures (like tool sheds) to be used as posts, and remember there are no holes to dig and no modifications to your landscape required. We provide detailed video instructions to make the installation process easy with no special tools. This really is something you or anyone you can install, just about anywhere. Complete Do it yourself install kits start at $6.00 per linear foot and professional installation starts at $9.00 per linear foot.
Easily Customized and Expandable. Our dog enclosures can be built for a small area or to enclose an entire property. We can create a fenced in area within your budget because our unique system can be easily enlarged or at anytime. Our powder-coated galvanized posts are not set in concrete. This means there is no-digging required to install our fence! Our no-dig sleeve system makes them very strong and yet easily movable if necessary.
It keeps other critters out. Unlike invisible wireless electric fences our non-electric dog fence system keeps coyotes, deer, and raccoons out of your property - protecting your pet, and your family. When you use an invisible wireless electric fence your dog essentially becomes a sitting duck. Even if your dog is contained in your yard, other dogs or predators (like coyotes) are not and therefore can corner your dog and attack them.
It can be installed anywhere. Our non-electric dog fence can be installed on uneven or challenging grounds such as hills, streams, wooded or rocky areas due to the flexibility of the materials and its ability to use trees when possible.
It will actually make your dog healthier. Some of the benefits are obvious. If your dog is allowed to play and run free he will obviously be more active and in better shape than dogs that are sedentary. Your dog will live longer, and will have a better quality of life even at an old age. However, there are advantages that are not so obvious. Because our non-electric dog fence is in fact a REAL dog fence instead of a invisible underground wireless electric system it keeps other critters out. When other critters can't access your backyard your property will be free of parasites like ticks. Here is what one of our customers has to say about this particular issue:
One of the advantages to your enclosures is it practically eliminates tick issues. Inside the enclosure, Brody gets nothing, if I happen to take him out to the woods or someplace else he consistently comes back with 1-3 ticks on him, even if it is for only 5 minutes. This enclosure keeps animals from bringing ticks into our yard. It's a great added bonus.
Can't I get the same type of protection from an in-ground or wireless dog fence? As many of our customers have found out these systems simply don't work. Dogs can run right through electric fences. Additionally, this is why PETA believes using an electric fence is bad for your dog:
Dogs whose yards are surrounded by electronic fences may develop fear or aggression aimed at what they believe is the source of the shock (kids riding by on bikes, the mail carrier, the dog next door, etc.). Dogs have been known to run through electronic barriers when frightened by fireworks or chasing a squirrel and then be too scared to cross back through the barrier. Electronic fences may actually encourage animals to try to escape. Since dogs only suffer painful shocks in the yard, they may associate the shock with the yard itself—once they get out of the yard, the pain goes away. The fact that the pain returns when they try to reenter the yard can cause dogs to believe that they are being punished for returning home. Even when animals are confined within certain boundaries of an electronic fence, they are still in danger of attacks by roaming dogs, cruel humans, or other animals, who can freely enter the property. Electronic fences are a dog thief’s dream come true! - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals
